Bahrain’s National Guard Staff-Director, Major General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, received in Manama a delegation from Kuwait’s National Guard, led by Brigadier General Hamad Salem Al-Barjas (photo).
The Staff Director conveyed greetings from the National Guard Commander, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, to the Kuwaiti National Guard delegation, and stressed the depth of the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations.
The two sides reviewed the on-going preparations to hold the fourth edition of the “Ta’wan” (Cooperation) drill, to be conducted jointly by the National Guard in Bahrain and its Kuwaiti counterpart, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
Brigadier General Hamad Salem Al-Barjas conveyed greetings from the Kuwaiti National Guard President, Sheikh Salim Al-Ali Al-Sabah, and Deputy President, Mishal Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to the National Guard Commander, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Meanwhile, the Adviser of Bahrain’s King for Media Affairs, Nabeel bin Yaqoub Al Hamer, received Ambassador of Kuwait to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al Sabah.
The Adviser praised the longstanding fraternal ties, citing the Ambassador’s efforts in bolstering the cooperation in various fields, particularly in the media field.
The Ambassador praised the deep-rooted distinguished ties between the two brotherly countries and people.
